这个工具只能运行在命令行的状态下。要求事先打开windows2000的命令控制台：Cmd.exe.这在以前是已经介绍过的。在Cmd.exe的窗口中的提示光标输入相应的命令，就可以显示对应的信息。

　　下面是我在自己的机器上，使用该命令的／s参数，显示c:\temp目录下的文件信息的情形：

　　Prints file version information.
　　filever [/S] [/V] [/E] [/X] [/B] [/A] [/D] [[drive:][path][filename]]
　　/S Displays files in specified directory and all subdirectories.
　　/V List verbose version information if available.
　　/E List executables only.
　　/X Displays short names generated for non-8dot3 file names.
　　/B Uses bare format (no dir listing).
　　/A Don't display file attributes.
　　/D Don't display file date and time.
